Facts about the Sycamore Tree
1. The leaves have 3 lobes which are hairy underneath and on the stems and they fall off the tree in late autumn.
2. The seed of the sycamore tree mimics the motion of helicopter wings when falling to the ground.
3. Some Native American tribes have used the entire trunk of a sycamore tree to make a dug- out canoe.
