Welcome Back ! Summer Term 2011

Hope everyone has had a lovely Easter- and not eaten too many chocolate eggs!

Just 1 day left and then back to hard work.
 There are lots of things to look forward to this term - especially the work we will be sharing with a class from Malpas Court School, visit to Talybont for some of the year 6 pupils and the swimming sessions.

Remember those in Year 6 need to have their swimming kits with them on Tuesday for the first session at Newport High School swimming pool. The sessions will take place daily for 3 weeks.

Where are we?

French books needed in school for the lesson on Wednesday.

It was great to see so many of you dressed up on Comic Relief Day - i think we all enjoyed ourselves- especially when eating the cakes!!!!!      

Weekly Reminder

This week is going to be a busy week in school.

Monday- Don't forget to bring in your PE kit.   We have Janice from Dragon Rugby in to teach us and play a game of Tag rugby.
Remember if it is cold we need to have tracksuit bottoms and of course trainers.

Wednesday- Those of you in Year 6 need to bring in your French books as the French teacher from the High School will be coming in.

Friday- Today you may come to school in fancy dress all in aid of Comic Relief. Be sure to wear sensible shoes as we will still be going out to play- let's see how many of you will dress up.

There will be cakes for sale at breaktime and the proceeds will go to Comic Relief.
Let's hope we all have fun!!!
